The University of Wollongong Chancellor, Christine McLoughlin AM, has announced she will be stepping down from her responsibilities later this year to focus on other professional endeavours. A new art exhibition in the Illawarra is focusing attention on the body image. Local artist, Kyle Montgomery, is showing his first solo exhibition at Wollongong Project Contemporary Art space. Titled ‘Fem Self-Love and Body Neutrality’, it features 120 artworks of ‘feminine bodies’ that Mr Montgomery has painted of models enthusiastic to be involved. Mr Montgomery, who is disabled and uses a wheelchair, said he hopes the exhibition help promote acceptance of body image and how our bodies change over time. https://youtu.be/U39R4mMXln8

Motorsport fans from across Australia are preparing to gather in Melbourne this weekend, as the Australian Grand Prix hits the ground racing. There is a growing demographic of race-car enthusiasts who are gearing up to watch their favourite driver negotiate the Albert Park track.
