A new art exhibition in the Illawarra is focusing attention on the body image.
Local artist, Kyle Montgomery, is showing his first solo exhibition at Wollongong Project Contemporary Art space.
Titled ‘Fem Self-Love and Body Neutrality’, it features 120 artworks of ‘feminine bodies’ that Mr Montgomery has painted of models enthusiastic to be involved.
Mr Montgomery, who is disabled and uses a wheelchair, said he hopes the exhibition help promote acceptance of body image and how our bodies change over time.
