    This week on When Veggies Bite Back, unsuspecting victims bought veggies thinking they’d be doing themselves some good only to get a nasty—and sometimes deadly—surprise.

    Yesterday, a Queensland woman found a red back spider in her broccoli, and that inspired us to look at the history of risky veggie encounters.
