This week it was  announced the outer port expansion in Port Kembla will now be super sized adding two more phases to the existing expansion that was announced in 2011.

The new plan will increase jobs in the port with every additional vessel arrival providing about $1 million a year and four port related jobs.

It is hoped the new expansion will allow up to 170 additional vessels a year.

UOWTV Multimedia Reporter, Jared Constable spoke with one local business owner who believes the changes will mean good things for the area.
