Wollongong Workshop Theatre is set to begin their new production of The God Committee on Friday, October 6.

The play written by Mark St. Germain has been described by the theatre as ‘a cross between Twelve Angry Men and Grey’s Anatomy’.

The ethical drama has also made the jump from theatre to film after being adapted for a 2021 movie of the same name.

Wollongong Workshop Theatre has been putting on productions since 1952 in the Illawarra, making it the longest running community theatre company in the region.

Tickets are available for purchase here, with adults $30 and concession prices at $25.

The theatre is located at 190 Gipps Road, Gwynneville with further information available on their website.
