Triathlon Australia has appointed Brendan Sexton, London Olympics triathlete, as the development coach at the Wollongong International Performance Centre.

Sexton joins internationally acclaimed head coach Jamie Turner as part of the triathlon coaching team based at the University of Wollongong’s sport and recreation centre (URAC).

The development squad aims to help young athletes transition into elite and professional athletics careers and create a supportive environment.

URAC is also introducing a number of new swimming programs aimed at swimmers of all skill levels, with Sexton as part of a larger group of coaches.
