Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is one of the Cancer Council’s leading and most successful fundraisers of its kind.

University of Wollongong Radiotherapy Physics Professor, Peter Metcalfe, received one of 15 grants awarded by the Cancer Council across New South Wales to fund vital research. The $429,000 grant will be used to develop radiation technology to treat cancer patients.

The Tea is aiming to have 11,100 hosts to raise over $5 million this month to further life-saving cancer research, prevention and support programs for people living with cancer.
