When asked London based artist Vicky Smith why she choose to come to Wollongong she insisted: “Wollongong chose me!”
During her visit to the University of Wollongong she has praised art spaces, labelling them as an integral part of a functioning society.
“You can’t just have a society that is lead by administration. It is very important, everybody should have the opportunity to have a creative practice, and the more art spaces that are available to encourage that or make that possible, the richer the world will be,” Ms Smith said. […]
