Buddha’s birthday 2013 is being celebrated at the Nan Tien Temple in Wollongong from the 29th of March until the 5th of May.
Australia is the second country in the world to host Buddha’s Birthday Education Project which features a multimedia art exhibition and a range of educational activities.
A local tour guide involved with the exhibition believes it’s good for the community. ”It contributes a lot to the Illawarra. We are essentially the only buddhist education centre,” Bob said.
