Illawarra siblings Kai and Saya Sakakibara have travelled to Brisbane to compete in the BMX Australian National Championships this week.
The brother and sister duo are no strangers to track success, having previously held Australian, New South Wales and world BMX titles. They were also joint winners of the sports achievement award last year.
Kai and Saya have been riding at the Southlake Illawarra BMX track for almost a decade. Club secretary Micheal Bailey said the Helensburgh siblings have what it takes to snare gold.
