New club will be playing K-Pop The Illawarra Steelers Club will become the home of the first official Asian nightclub come this weekend. The annual Nude Auction made its way back onto the UOW calendar this week, showcasing some of the university’s brightest artist talent. The auction is hosted each year in order to raise funding for the end of semester art showcase, and allows the students to work with the ‘nude’ theme in whatever way they seem fit, as well as giving them a chance to sell some of their work. Established by YGAP Co-founder and CEO Elliot Costello; the global campaign aims to shed light upon the devastating reality that is violence against children. With a frightening 1 in 5 children experiencing child abuse before they reach the age of 18, this necessary campaign showcases men painting their nails in an array of colours in order to attract other people to spark up conversation about the cause and aim of the campaign. Thomas Cafe is the creator of the Thoughtful Dude, a welcoming collective of creative and artistic men that provides a place to share their passion – be it music or visual art – to like-minded people. Last weekend, Tom hosted the first Thoughtful Dude showcase at the Brighton-Up Bar in Sydney, which produced a broad range of musical and artistic talent deriving from the Thoughtful Dude collective.
