This year marks a 10 year milestone for Campbelltown’s Knit and Giggle group, that, over laughs and knitting needles, create blankets for those in need. Every Monday afternoon, the group, founded by Bridget Byrne and Sheila Myers, gathers at the Campbelltown Library to knit blankets for the Wrapped with Love Campaign. Up to 18 members attend each week and, over the years, the women have created hundreds blankets and rugs to be distributed around the world.  Along with the satisfaction of being a part of a great cause, Ms Byrnes said the women love the social aspect of the group, and their chatter and laughter echo all around the library.
