Illawarra locals are gearing up for the Ride 4 Rotary event at the Unanderra Velodrome on Sunday.
The cycling event will raise money for Southern Youth and Family Services and its support programs for youth at risk in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven.
The fundraiser has been an annual event in the Illawarra since 2015. Ride 4 Rotary has raised more than $93,000 over seven years.
After last year’s ride was cancelled due to COVID, the Southern Youth and Family Services team is committed to making this year’s event a success.
The campaign has already raised $48,000 for the cause and the committee will accept donations a week after the event. Organisers want to aise more than $50,000.
