It has not been without worry, stress or frustration but live major music festivals will return to NSW and the Illawarra this weekend. Yours and Owls will be held at Stuart Park in Wollongong tomorrow and Sunday. It will be the first major music festival in the state since the pandemic began.
Yours and Owls Festival head organiser Ben Tillman said COVID-safe conditions will be in place but they have not come easily.
‘It’s cost so much money to do all the COVID safety stuff, it’s been really stressful,” Yours and Owls head organiser ben Tillman said.
Planning for the event included a venue change from Dalton Park to Stuart Park to accommodate COVID restrictions and to make the festival possible.
