Yours and Owls Festival will be returning to Wollongong next March for a two-day celebration of live music and the arts, complete with local and international acts.
Yours and Owls dropped the highly anticipated lineup for the 2025 festival, featuring some massive names in music such as Denzel Curry, Fontaines D.C. and the Goo Goo Dolls.
Music enthusiast Connor Granger, 18, shared enthusiasm for the lineup following the cancellation of numerous festivals this year due to a lack of ticket sales.
“The festivals for next year seem to be making sure to have good lineups after the recent let-downs,” Mr Granger said.
“It seems like they’re really trying not to let the festival culture die out.”
The company has partnered with Australian radio giant Triple J, as well as various beverage companies such as Red Bull and Smirnoff to provide attendees to compliment the festival experience.
2025 will see the 10th anniversary of the Yours and Owls festival, which has evolved from a live music bar in central Wollongong to a vibrant event company across NSW, Gold Coast and Canberra.
“It’s cool to have a festival that’s so local to Wollongong,” Mr Granger said
“The music scene here is great so I’m glad it’s getting that national and international recognition from this.”
With high expectations for upcoming festivals set by Laneway and Good Things earlier this month, Yours and Owls have appeared to follow suit with the positive reaction to the released artist lineup.
First time Yours and Owls attendee Amelia Stephenson, 19, expressed excitement for the festival ahead of the ticket drop next this week.
“There’s an artist there for every genre of music you could want,” Miss Stephenson said.
“I really think it’s going to be a great time.”
