The Wollongong Roller Hawks are back on the court after a 20-month break and are ready for the start of the 2021 National Wheelchair Basketball league (NWBL) season.

Roller Hawks player Luke Pople and club president Geoff Adams spoke with UOWTV about being back on the court, returning players, and the competition.

After three consecutive title wins, the team is looking forward to playing against their competitors in the hopes of winning their fourth straight title.

The team is excited to get back onto the courts and play at an elite level, playing in a competition for the first time in over a year and a half.

The first cluster rounds will be held on the Roller Hawks’ home grounds of the Shellharbour City Stadium at the end of this month (28th-30th).

@Roller_Hawks have their first game back in 20 months. The first round back is from the 28-30 of May and the team is excited to get back on the courts #uowtv #socialj #wollongongrollerhawks
