Wollongong Bulldogs forward tracking toward new club record

    Ryan SpeedBy Ryan SpeedMay 18, 2016Updated:May 19, 2016No Comments1 Min Read

The Wollongong Bulldogs look to have a goal-kicking machine in their team. Kent Delbridge is a rising star of the South Coast Australian Football League, and he is tracking toward a club goal-kicking record.

Delbridge has kicked a total of 30 goals in the first six games of the season, and, if his form continues, could steal the record from fellow teammate Andrew Barned.

Team manager Jeremy Cooper sees no reason why Delbridge can’t break the 82-goal record.

“If he keeps staying fit, and keeps playing all the games, he can have a good crack at it,” Cooper said.

If Delbridge continues to kick goals at this rate, he will have 90 goals at the end of the home and away season, and would have eclipsed the record.
