Becoming a professional athlete may ordinarily be seen as out of reach by university-aged students, but not for Chris Powell, 19, and David Maggs, 20. For them, training most days of the week is just another part of their routine and they take all the social sacrifice, early mornings and muscle fatigue that comes with it.

There’s only one time in your life to become a professional athlete, and these boys are seizing their young age and seeing if they have what it takes. With overseas competitions and even the next Olympic Games on the horizon, they’re gunning for success.
