‘Vicious’ artists showcasing work in Wollongong

‘Vicious, delicious and ambitious’ female artists have been unleashed on Wollongong over the next two weeks, as part of an exhibition at Project Contemporary Artspace.

The exhibition has been a vision for local curator and photographer Katelyn Slyer for over a decade.

Ms Slyer has gathered a collection of vicious and talented female artists to exhibit their aggressive and provocative works in a variety of forms including painting, film, sculpture, photography and live performance.

The all-female cast highlights an intriguing tone to the exhibition, challenging the traditional meanings of femininity.

Vicious, Delicious and Ambitious is on show at Project Contemporary Artspace until May 15.
