The room consists of a kitchen, feeding rooms, baby change table and play area.

The facility has been well-received by new mum April Alexander and her baby Killian.

Project manager Silvana Naumovski says it is an important initiative to provide services for parents to feel comfortable with their children at university.

It is the second dedicated parents facility on campus after one in the Early Start research centre.
