More than 35 exhibitors and resident companies took advantage of the event to showcase their ideas and developments from the past year to potential investors and members of the community.

The day included a variety of demonstrations, including bionic artificial muscles, motorsport simulations, and three-dimensional printing.

Director and founder of 3D printing company ME3D, Leanne Connelly was one of many who took advantage of the Demo Day.

“It is such a helpful and innovative environment,” she said.

” We have the right people here and the right people talking to us.”

“We are going to get more and more into niche and advanced manufacturing techniques…traditional manufacturing techniques in Australia are changing,” Ms Connelly said.

The iAccelerate Demo Day will return next year. Coordinators said there would be more innovations and ideas to showcase.
