Anyone within five kilometres of the University of Wollongong campus can now order alcohol home delivery from UniBar.
It comes as UOWPulse re-opens a few campus services under eased social distancing restrictions meant to contain the spread of COVID-19.
In an email to students on Tuesday, Pulse CEO Alf Maccioni said the popular chip roll is also making a return to campus.
“A range of UniBar favourites including the chip roll will be on offer through the new UniBar take away menu. Food can be pre-ordered for pick-up or delivered direct to your desk or study area,” Mr Maccioni said.
Mr Maccioni said Pulse is making a staged return to campus.
“It’s been a very different campus over the last few weeks, but with the easing of restrictions we are now undertaking a staged approach in transitioning the team back to work on campus,” Mr Maccioni said.
“UniActive is offering new outdoor training programs starting on Monday 18 May. Taking place on the sports grounds and with full adherence to social distancing and sanitisation requirements these small group sessions include: Outdoor – Run Club Ultimate, Cross Training and Seniors.
“The Government restrictions are still too limiting for use of our swimming pool so we have decided that the pool will not re-open as yet.”
Seated cafes on campus are also allowing up to ten patrons.
