Environmental engineer Professor Faisai Hai has uncovered that the current process of recycling plastic is creating and releasing more microplastics into the environment.
“All we are saying is that the current recycling processes need some changes.” Professor Hai Said.
Professor Hai believes there needs to be a better approach to recycling attempts and calls for more regulations to prevent further release of microplastics from the recycling sector.
