Imagine you are entering the Sydney Royal Easter Show design competition. The entry requires a team to design a device which can safely transfer a newly laid egg from a hen to a collection area. What would you design and build?

University of Wollongong Visual Arts, and Graphic Design students had this challenge, and only two days to execute it. On day one, they were required to make a plan and compile a ‘how to’ manual that another team would use to construct and test their invention. On day two, they tested the inventions in front of their classmates and a panel of judges.
