Shedding a positive light on Albion Park

Mackenzie VineyBy Mackenzie VineyAugust 29, 2016No Comments1 Min Read

Aiming to bring together men of all backgrounds and abilities, the Albion Park Men’s Shed, and its 70 members, operates three days a week to assist the local community, and foster relationships. From beehives to pens, bicycle and lawnmower repairs, and anything in between, the shed, managed by volunteers, teaches new skills and allows men to share their abilities through community projects  in a supportive and social environment. Ron Dryburgh opened the Anglican Church-supported men’s shed in 2012 and it is dedicated to providing solace for men living alone, looking for a hobby or simply wanting to get out of the house.
