The death of Rock ‘n’ Roll legend Chuck Berry at the aged of 90 disappointed music lovers worldwide on Sunday. The ‘Johnny B Goode’ guitarist will be remembered for the profound effect he had on music. He garnered praise from rock’s biggest names, with most crediting him as the father of rick. “He laid down the law for playing this kind of music,” Eric Clapton once said. The tributes since Sunday have similarly been full of praise.
However, there were other aspects of his life that have landed him in trouble in the past. Berry had problems with the law, many related to his treatment of women. He had 59 class-action lawsuits filed against him due to breaches of privacy.
