    New studies show mental illness keeps increasing in medics

    Doctors, nurses and paramedics treat and save others, but they are lack support for their mental health, according to new research.

    A University of Melbourne and Deakin University study has revealed an increasing rate of suicide among healthcare professionals. Central Queensland University is researching abuse that can lead to mental illness in nurses. The study shows incidents of harassment within and outside of the workplace. The study also reveals stress contributes to fragile emotional states in the workplace.
