A new national study has focussed attention on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the health and wellbeing of Australians.
The University of Wollongong research highlights how social factors, such as gender, housing, food supply, income, social support, and access to healthcare, affected an individual’s overall wellbeing during the pandemic.
Lead author and PhD candidate Heidi Green said the researchers surveyed people from different socioeconomic statuses’ across Australia.
