A Wollongong cook is using her colourful, experimental and adventurous baked goods to contribute to the Illawarra’s growing micro-business culture.

Gemma Jamison set up her own small business, Gemmcraft, less than a year ago. She aimed to add her name to the list of Illawarra artisans with a big passion for something small and unique.

In the most recent Economic Development Strategy 2013-2023, the Wollongong City Council outlined that one of its key strengths is business support services. The council has proposed ongoing support for local business networks and industry clusters.
