The trials to choose the Australian swim team for the Rio Olympic Games will be held next week and four Wollongong swimmers are in the race.
Alyisha Beckingham, Jake Power, Matt Hearne and Aaron Cannon will try out for the Olympic team under the stewardship of coach James Greathead.
The locals will swim against the nation’s best, including those trained by Australian Swim Team Head Coach Jacco Verhaeren.
Greathead said his swimmers have a good shot of making the semi finals.
