An increasing trend in buying local produce is sweeping the Illawarra region and more people are saying goodbye to the big supermarkets and hello to farm-gate shopping. This local trade sees shoppers choosing to buy their food straight off the tree from local farmers when it’s in season, cutting out the middle man and the bad apples in the bunch.
