It’s veggie season, so start digging: Botanic Gardens gurus

Bridget HumphriesBy Bridget HumphriesOctober 14, 2016No Comments1 Min Read

Community workshops will be held at Wollongong Botanic Garden during Spring, and gardeners – young and old – will be able to learn the art of growing quality fruit and vegetables.

More than 10 million Australians buy their fruit and vegetables from grocery stores, according to Roy Morgan Research. The Wollongong Botanic Gardens Discovery Centre runs a variety of gardening and sustainability workshops it hopes will help make us more self-sufficient.

Workshops cater to preschoolers all the way to seniors.
