    ‘Hoon’ drivers urged to put lives before everything else

    The Illawarra community is mourning the deaths of young drivers engaged in ‘hooning’ and ‘reckless’ behaviours on the roads.

    The grief follows a crash in Wingdang that saw 18-year-old Jesse Brown lose his life earlier this month.

    Ex-ambulance officer David Harmer has pleaded for people to show greater responsibility behind the wheel.

    “There’s precious cargo on board … therefore we should be driving at our best at all times,” Mr Harmer said.
