Illawarra artists have answered the call to participate in Wollongong’s live music event ‘Playing in the Precinct.’ Guitarist and singer/songwriter Kane Dennelly performed an acoustic set at the Wollongong CBD arts precinct today.

The event is part of Wollongong City Council’s ‘Live Music Action Plan’, which began in 2014 as a way to support and increase live music performances and encourage community involvement.

Dennelly attracted a small but enthusiastic crowd.

“If I was in the music industry, I would sign him up straight away,” local resident Vas said.

‘Plating in the Precinct’ continues from noon Tuesday to Thursday throughout March.
