Everyone is invited to Spilt Milk’s house party!

Spilt Milk has announced a series of ‘House Parties’ featuring fan favourites, in light of the popular music festival taking a break in 2024, set to return next year.

Three smaller events were teased last week, with Spilt Milk captioning an Instagram post with the tag to an affiliate account @houseparty_au.

“Anyone wanna come to my house party? Some of my friends are in bands and are keen to play at it. Lmk (let me know),” Spilt Milk said in their social media post.

Eager fans questions were answered after the coveted ‘House Party Guest List’ was revealed, with the lineup featuring Troye Sivan, G Flip, Glass Animals, Artemas and Sycco.

The music festival is temporarily parting with some of their usual locations and holding only three house parties; Boorloo, Perth Sunday 17th November, Kombumerri, Gold Coast Saturday 23rd November and lastly, Awabakal, Newcastle on Sunday 24th November.

Long time Spilt Milk attendee and supporter, Cameron Fenning said he was ‘stoked’ when he saw the post.

“I was so disappointed when the festival announced earlier this year that they would be taking a break, so seeing that they would be coming back was so exciting even though they’re only doing smaller events,” Mr Fenning said,

“There were heaps of people on TikTok speculating that Troye Sivan and G Flip would be on the lineup for the actual festival this year and I really wanted to see them so I’m so glad that we have another chance to now.”

Spilt Milk answered fans’ burning questions with an anonymous Q&A (question and answer) on their Instagram Story.

“How many tickets get sold? Surely it can’t be an actual house,” one fan said.

“More than what would fit in a regular house but not so big that you shouldn’t panic about getting a ticket,” Spilt Milk said in response.

This response implies that there will only be a limited amount of tickets available for purchase, especially compared to their usual festival which holds well over 30,000 attendees.

Their website has now been converted to support their new line of events with the page ensuring that the festival will be returning in 2025 but in the meantime they’re throwing some house parties.

Presale for the events went on sale September 11,  before general release becomes available at 10am on Friday, September 13.

Ticket prices start at $148.55 and go as high as $199.95 for the 4th and final release.
