    Big laughs at the Sydney Comedy Festival

    This week marks the second week of the 11th Annual Sydney Comedy Festival.

    It features hundreds of national and international comedians across several Sydney stages, including the Enmore and Metro Theatres as well as The Concourse Chatswood, Riverside Theatre and the Seymour Centre and runs The festival runs from 20 April – 17 May.

    Entertaining an audience of approximately 111,000 people, local talent includes the likes of Frenchy and Joel Creasey, as well as big international acts from Noel Fielding, Stephen K Amos, Daniel Sloss and Ross Noble.

    In addition to the Sydney Comedy Festival Gala at the Sydney Opera House and Cracker Night, the festival will also take to the road in the Sydney Comedy Festival Showcase visiting Wollongong this August.

    Lyndal Hayes from Merrigong Theatre Company said the one off event to be held on 7 August is sure to attract “large crowds”.
