People living with mental illness and those working to help them have called for more to be done to address the impact and the stigma surrounding the condition. The Engadine Street Festival was revived this year by the Sutherland Shire Council to raise money for Essential Community Solutions(ECS). Yesterday’s event expanded into the main street to accommodate increased crowds. ECS is a not-for-profit, volunteer-based group that provides programs and services for the Engadine community.
