    Wollongong to be showcased in free magazine

    The Wollongong CBD has changed significantly in recent years and is continues to transform into a more youthful and vibrant city.

    With an array of things to do and see in the Illawarra, Thirroul resident Jesse Kerema plans to showcase Wollongong in a free lifestyle magazine.

    The 21-year-old said the magazine would help people plan the perfect Wollongong weekend, and he said the iniaitive has already gained community support.

    In its early stages, the free magazine will be be distributed in bars, clubs and shops around Wollongong with production to be funded by advertising by local businesses in the magazine.

    The first edition of Wollongong Lifestyle is due to be released September 1 and will include bar and restaurant reviews, feature stories and anything new in the Illawarra.
