The NSW Central Coast is now home to the Rolling Sets and Let the Good Times Roll festivals this summer, with both taking place at the same location just one day apart.

Rolling Sets announced the partnering festival on September 6, with Grinspoon as the headline act.

The Central Coast’s Jaymi Toole is taking part in the Let the Good Times Roll lineup alongside her Little Quirks bandmates.

“I am so excited to not have to travel to Sydney or Newcastle for a festival,” she said.

“It is going to be awesome supporting these amazing acts while at The Entrance.”

Central Coast Music and Arts are supporting the festivals, allowing a competition for two local acts to perform on both days.

Last year’s winner, The Moving Stills’ Brad Guthmann, is taking part in the Rolling Sets lineup and working with Central Coast Music and Arts on the judging panel.

“We’re so happy to be included on the lineup this year,” he said.

“Can’t wait to give more locals the chance we got last year.”

Both festivals will be held at The Entrance Memorial Park December 9-10. The diverse lineups boast names spanning from the Central Coast to overseas, including popular Australian acts Ocean Alley and Spacey Jane.

The region is expecting mass amounts of tourism over the weekend, bringing a fresh energy into the Central Coast live music scene and providing a space for local music lovers to enjoy some live music in their backyard.
