Passion trumps stress in ‘ruthless’ industry

    Mitchell FinlaysonBy Mitchell FinlaysonOctober 2, 2015Updated:October 2, 2015No Comments1 Min Read

The entertainment industry is filled with passionate people trying to make a living. Josh Walker built his business, Audio Experience, from the ground up and, at 21, he claims anything is possible.

In a job that demands time and flexibility, Walker put in many late nights. He said his passion for music drives him. From massive gigs, including Defqon.1, to providing teenagers with studio recording opportunities, Walker has seen much of what his industry has to offer.

He said the stress of running a business by himself and the knowledge that one small mistake could be costly has taken a toll.

“The way the industry works is you only get one chance, so, if you get something wrong, often you are not coming back,” he said.

Walker said his love of music and audio production outweighs the negatives.
