Talks between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday ended without progress on the Russia–Ukraine war, with critics dismissing the meeting as a political performance aimed at boosting their public image. The NSW Government have released confronting CCTV footage on Sunday, showing near misses on the light rail to launch the twentieth annual Rail Safety Week. The footage captured areas in Sydney, the Eastern Suburbs, Parramatta and Newcastle, showing pedestrians, cyclists, cars, and people on mobility scooters colliding or narrowly avoiding collisions.
