Eco Community Fitness in Bellambi is planning a second ‘Eco Games’ event, following the success of their previous competition in late April this year. Members and coaches are getting ready for this competition, with mobility programming and practise workouts. The gym, which opened in October of 2020, has gained over 120 members, and Owner Jamie Page says that they receive enquiries and new memberships every week. Eco Games 2 will be hosted at the Fraternity Club in Fairy Meadow in October.

Schools across New South Wales this week received the news they will be the recipients of new and upgraded facilities, as part of the NSW government’s $120 million Regional Renewal Program announced late last year. Premier Gladys Berijiklian announced yesterday 190 schools would benefit from the program’s second tranche, the Metro Renewal Program. The Premier said the program would improve playgrounds, sports courts, and libraries.
