Oak Flats residents claim their town has been ignored by local and state governments in favour of the Shellcove Marina and the Shellharbour Hub. An Illawarra aircraft museum has partnered with a Hollywood star and are set to deliver a new attraction to the area. The Historical Aircraft Restoration Society (HARS) has been gifted ex-Qantas Boeing 707 courtesy of film star John Travolta, who hopes to deliver the aircraft to Albion Park Airport in-person.
