    A Market for Markets

    Athena BambaliarosBy Athena BambaliarosMarch 26, 2014Updated:March 26, 2014No Comments1 Min Read

The day was threatened by the weather gods, though the marketeers pressed on today at UOW.

Whether it be in Sydney or in Wollongong a marketplace has become a new way for young designers, farmers and artists to present their work to the public.

A marketplace has rapidly become a great way for you and me to discover new and “niche” things. Or even some old things.

UOW marketplace stalls are occupying plenty of observers; the Second Hand Sisters lay out a top spread as the girls cleared out their wardrobes to make room for new seasons. Mo Resin lays out beautiful french and Aboriginal inspired pieces, and Wild4Feathers brings out the wild side to your character with her exotic hair extension.
