The MakerSpace at the University of Wollongong, which is in its second year, is a relatively untapped resource for students of the university.
It is a creative and collaborative space which gives students free training in, and access to, technology, including a virtual reality space, 3D printers, and embroidery and sewing machines.
Director of the UOW MakerSpace, Nathan Riggir, encourages students from all courses and disciplines to make the most of the space, both for work and for fun.
