The drug culture in the Sydney DJ scene is present now more then ever, according to those closest to it. Sydney DJ, Harry Clement said drug use is at an all-time high among young and talented DJs. Clement said drug use is creating a culture of self-destruction and is rife at the grass-roots.
He said house parties are littered with cocaine, ecstasy and pills and perpetuate the claim that to “make it big” DJs must immerse themselves in drug and alcohol-fuelled benders.
