Michael Tynan and Madeline Tynan have paired up with Molecular Horizon to raise money dedicated to medical research through the Michael Tynan challenge series. Since the start of this series, the Tynan family has helped raise over a million dollars towards medical research.
In order to assist students after a difficult 2021, the Tynan’s established the Tynan Family Molecular Horizons Honours Scholarship. The scholarship is directed at honours students who are carrying out research under the theme ‘Molecular Horizon’.
Scholarship recipient Nathan Bala said it was critical to him and his studies.
“Well I feel I did pretty well last year, so without that I probably wouldn’t be here right now.” Mr Bala said.
The scholarship includes $2,000 for outstanding honours students and $4,000 for the student’s primary supervisor to cover any project costs.
